A film sequence in the past considered as normal (adequately fast) is nowadays perceived as a slow one. Thus sequences are becoming shorter and shorter and the movie creators use sharper cuttings. Creators of video clips, animations or children’s cartoons use these sequences as well, and it is confirmed that a child is able to identify an object and its motion in every half second now. Using digital technology, the artist compressed movies lasting several hours into just one picture, which the spectator can see in a fraction of a second. Action or sci-fi movies were used for these compressions |
