vidoc 01 - 22 2000 2002 size: 80 x 120 cm material: c-print, aluminium Series of manipulated photos presented as c-prints and named after the visual document - Vidoc. At a first sight, there is nothing strange on typical American suburbs or cities; there are tall buildings, billboards, cars, pedestrians, normal day-to-day life. However, the second glance shows that text is absent everywhere, there are no signs or any written information. This artistic digital manipulative strategy explores the effects as well as the amount of written text surrounding the living space of a thriving country. |
